A little town by the name of Cottage Cove sets the scene for a single Mom named Wren and her son Charlie. Wren wants what is best for Charlie, a gifted musically talented 10 year old who is a sensitive and caring young man. Charlie wants his Mom to be happy and prays for it. When Grandma Ruth, about to be 90, appears in town wanting a birthday party for herself, things begin to unravel. Ruth wants Wren's estranged brother and sister to come in town for the party and memories of the past come about, though not always good memories. Charlie's father, who left when Charlie was 3 months old, comes back via e-mail. A caring man also enters Wren's life and Charlie's prayers seem to be answered.
This book is a good read, hard to put down. A Christian spirit seems to be present throught the story and causes one to feel a relationship with Christ through the characters. Would recommend.

Cost of Miracle Whip
Went to the store the other day to get Miracle Whip to make tuna salad. The price for a quart was $5.59! That was ridiculous. What is in it cost that much? Ended up getting a small jar of Smart Balance for $1.99. I'll wait for a sale on the MW.
What is it with so many products being so overly priced?? Can't even afford to eat anymore....

New to Blogging
Well this is my first blog. I hope to get into reviewing books and giving my opinions on those as well as various consumer products. I am starting this because I like to look for everyday people's opinions on books and products before I purchase them so I thought others may too. Trust the consumer!
